Our Story

Built from the inside, not the outside.

PulsePoint didn't start as a software idea looking for a market. It started inside the call centers, distribution teams and collections floors of Nigeria's biggest financial institutions — and grew into the AI platform we wished we'd had all along.

How we got here

Three chapters, one thread.

Chapter One · Inside the machine

Two decades on the floor, not in the boardroom slides

Before PulsePoint, our founder spent over 20 years running the functions most software vendors only ever hear about second-hand — customer analytics, distribution support and trade marketing inside Nigerian financial services. That included turning one MTN territory from $228,000 to $4.4M in monthly revenue, and being named the operator's Best Trade Marketing Consultant nationally in 2014. The lesson that stuck: the gap was never talent. It was the tools that talent was forced to work with.

Chapter Two · The gap gets a name

Call centers, CRMs and HR tools built for someone else's market

Every institution had the same story: brilliant frontline teams, boxed in by contact-center software, CRMs and HR systems designed for markets with different networks, different compliance regimes and different customers. Nothing was built to answer a call in Nigerian English, reconcile a naira collection, or run payroll against local PAYE and pension rules — so every business patched the gap with people, spreadsheets and overtime.

Chapter Three · Building the fix

PulsePoint: AI-native, Lagos-built, Nigeria-first

PulsePoint set out to close that gap with software, not more headcount — starting with an AI contact center that could hold a real conversation in Nigerian English around the clock, then growing into a full suite: CRM, HR, payroll, social media management, a cooperative-society manager, and an examinations portal for a national professional body. Along the way, the same studio proved it could ship consumer product too, with Monkey Keke Dash — a fully original 3D endless runner built and shipped end-to-end. One team, one login, seven products, all built for the businesses that run Nigeria.

"We didn't set out to sell software. We set out to give every Nigerian business team the tools we wished we'd had when we were running the floor."

— Chukwuma Ibobo, Founder & CEO, PulsePoint
What carries through every product

The values behind the build.

Nigeria-first, always

Designed, built and supported in Lagos — tuned for real networks, naira and local compliance, not adapted from somewhere else.

AI that actually works

Voice agents and automation built into the core of every product — not a chatbot bolted on for a demo.

Ship in days, not quarters

Small team, short loop from request to release — customization measured in days because we're still the people who wrote it.

Real people behind the AI

Every product ships with 24/7 first-line support and structured ticketing — so nothing important is ever left to a bot alone.
